Amrita Singh, now retired from the Bollywood after getting married to actor Saif Ali Khan, was born on 9 Feb. Prior to her wedding bells, Amrita had a flamboyant filmi-career in the Bollywood acting with the top heroes in her time - a few of her actors are still in the top ten of the Wood - and she had smash hit films at the box office too.
Amrita, petnamed Dingy, had retired from films at a time when she was destined to be NO 1 among the heroines but she's got no regrets. Recent times might have been a hard time for her as she has separated from her hubby and has to raise her kids on her own. She is planning to come on the small screen. Also recently she has acted in the Bhagat Singh where she played the character of Bhagat Singh's Mother. |
